They Must Be Fulfilled
Moses 4:22-31
For as I, the Lord God, liveth, even so my words cannot return void, for as they go forth out of my mouth they must be fulfilled.
Trust can be defined as a firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something. Trust is earned, and once it is broken, it can be difficult to rebuild. The God of heaven declares that we can trust Him and His words. He has said that when His words go forth from His mouth, they will be fulfilled. God honors His word and keeps His promises.
Our heavenly Father has not left us in the dark. There are many ways to come to know Him and the promises He offers to those who choose to love and obey Him. We have the scriptures, the prophets, our leaders, prayer, service, revelation, and many other means. He invites us to know who He is, what He does, and what He values so that we may learn to trust Him.
I have a testimony that God desires a place in our hearts and in our lives. I have heard His voice when I was in the dark. He gave me comfort when I was overwhelmed, courage when I was afraid, and love when I felt unlovable and beyond redemption.
I invite each of us to take the first step—to develop a desire to know Him and to trust that He loves us above all.
